Media is a cinematic animation that satirizes modern society’s blind trust in news, social media, and online information. 

The story follows TV Head Guy, who willingly surrenders his own thoughts—symbolized by a yellow gem—to a radio, passively accepting its broadcast as his own beliefs. As he becomes a puppet controlled by external influences, he realizes too late that he has lost his autonomy. Struggling but unable to break free, his fate serves as a stark reminder of how media can manipulate and dominate the human mind.




          







Process




Beginning with a rough sketch, I developed the storyboard and built a 3D model of the TV-headed character.



   
As the scene unfolds, the composition intensifies, and the camera accelerates, capturing the chaotic shift as the TV-headed figure transforms into a marionette.





The most challenging aspect of this project was animating the character to effectively convey the story. 

Therefore, I recorded the motion by myself with move.ai and learned the technique of applying motion capture data to an avatar that I have created and using that data to produce animations.
